The Jewish Cemetery Association of Massachusetts Charitable Foundation will be hosting an event to celebrate 36 years of proudly serving our Community! The event will be on April 28, 2020 at the beautiful Florence & Chafetz Hillel House in Boston overlooking the Charles River. The theme of this event will be highlighting JCAM’s accomplishments over 36 years and our continued commitment to the preservation, restoration and maintenance of declining ancient burial sites in Massachusetts.

JCAM is a non-profit, communal agency that owns and manages 123 Jewish cemeteries in Massachusetts. We work to ensure the management, perpetual maintenance, and security of our cemeteries. In addition to cemetery management and upkeep, we are heavily involved in the community as a community outreach organization. Our Charitable Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization. We are passionate about the preservation of ancient Jewish heritage and genealogy, as well as raising funds for various educational and historical events and projects. We are also involved in human needs projects such as providing graves for the indigent so they can be afforded a Jewish proper burial. Our extensive database currently holds more than 225,000 genealogical records and has become an invaluable resource for people locating their family members and loved ones.

Our April 28th fundraiser and silent auction will feature 2 guest speakers who will be addressing the growing concern over the security of cemeteries as well as anti-Semitic hate crimes and vandalism that have been targeted against our community, including cemeteries.

Attendees will be business owners, cemetery owners, corporate supporters, elected officials, law enforcement, CEOs, and various other key partners and leaders in not only the Jewish community, but the general community as well. There will be elegant cocktail style event with open bar, plentiful hors d’oeurves and music.
