Central Square Theater (CST), dedicated to the exploration of social justice, science and sexual politics, engages over 35,000 people each year through live performance, youth education, and community programs. CST was created collaboratively 12 years ago by two theaters - Underground Railway and The Nora - with a combined history of 50 years work.
At CST, ART IS OUR ACTIVISM. Our responsibility as artists and activists is to create theater where points of view are heard, perspective shifts, and change can happen. While our stages must be dark during this unsettling time, we continue to do this work because it is our responsibility to you.
