The Recovery Art Auction raises funds for our recovery support and advocacy programs while also supporting talented artists.

The Auction showcases creative work from artists in recovery from mental health or substance use or whose work process is essential to their wellness. Each piece is a deeply personal and creative expression of the artist's vulnerability and resiliency as they travel along their recovery journeys. Some artists chose to speak about their experiences in their Artist Statements, while some decided to let the work speak for itself. Either way, MHAV is incredibly grateful to each artist for their beautiful donations. Please remember this when you bid on items.

This year's Recovery Art Auction is on-line and will run for a FULL WEEK, September 17-24, and will feature in our virtual Victory for Mental Health event on September 24th from 12:00 to 12:30 p.m. We'll highlight our Warm Line and Recovery Programs, meet our special guest - Virginia's Commissioner for Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, and hear from some of the featured artists!
