This year, we honor our Port Resources frontline staff members who have gone above and beyond every day during COVID-19 to care for our clients. It is because of them that we have been able to ensure that our Port Resources community continues to be cared for during this unprecedented time. As you likely know, communal group home living situations like those that Port Resources hosts are some of the toughest situations to manage during the pandemic. Our residential program staff are the Frontline Heroes we celebrate today and we cannot be more grateful for their incredible sacrifices, dedication and care.
Client Activities Fund
Your participation in our auction builds our Client Activities Fund, which enables us to fund activities for our clients to live meaningful and fulfilled lives. This is especially important this year because this fund will allow us to purchase indoor activity items to keep our clients engaged and active during the pandemic. With 18 group homes and more than 70 residents it's a fiscal challenge. Your generous support will provide us the means to purchase items such as karaoke machines, arts and crafts, DVDs, music CDs, exercise equipment, video games, board games and much, much more.

Who we are...
Port Resources Mission: Port Resources empowers individuals with developmental, cognitive and behavioral health challenges to live meaningful and fulfilled lives in their communities.
We have come a long way since we opened our doors 40 years ago! In 1979 we opened our first program, a group home on Emery Street in Portland, supporting six individuals moving out of the state institution, Pineland Center. Today, we manage a residential service program that supports 70 adults in 20 group homes across Cumberland and York counties, in addition to mental health services, a day program and a number of other programs.
