Spring is here and it's time to gather!

Join us for a fun and festive evening of dinner, performances, dancing, and an auction to benefit Waldorf School of the Peninsula. It's been two years since the adults in our community have gathered. It's time for a night out! We'll celebrate our faculty and staff, meet one another anew, and support our school.

Prepare to relax, see some familiar faces and meet a few new ones. Introverts, we have you covered. There'll be ample opportunity to catch some air and quieter moments in one of the two outdoor spaces.

Learn more about the indoor/outdoor venue, food & drink, and more here.

As of May 17 we only need $2165 to fully fund our Science Fund A Need!

You can click on the Donate Now button and help us fund our high school science equipment.

We are living in a time when science is of immediate importance to students and society at large. Donating to this fund will help enable high school students to explore their own innate curiosity about the molecular biology of coronaviruses, and the science that underlies COVID-19 vaccines, COVID testing, and our own immune systems. This package of laboratory equipment will allow students to perform cutting edge biotechnology techniques including PCR, gel electrophoresis, and restriction digest assays. With a foundational understanding of these and other biological principles the students are empowered to critically analyze the scientific information that is now a part of their daily lives. A key part of this course is hands-on learning with micropipettes which are essential laboratory tools used to accurately transfer small volumes of liquid. 85% of the requested funds will help to purchase and maintain these important high-quality instruments.

Funding of this project will support the purchase of the following biotechnology laboratory equipment:

?High-quality micropipettes, racks, tips, and micropipette maintenance and calibration service to ensure optimal working condition of micropipettes and extend their lifespan.

?A transilluminator to safely visualize and analyze DNA agarose gels following PCR and gel electrophoresis experiments.

?Lab experiment kits that simulate COVID-19 testing and genetic testing.
