The mission of the New Canaan YMCA Caimans Swim Team is to foster the development of our swimmers both in and out of the pool. We aim to cultivate an environment where athletes are encouraged to reach their fullest potential in competitive swimming, while also emphasizing the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and integrity.
Our program is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive community that inspires swimmers to strive for excellence, not only in their athletic performance but also in their personal growth and character development. We believe that the lessons learned through swimming - such as discipline, resilience, and dedication - extend beyond the pool and contribute to our athletes' success in all aspects of life.
