Crossroads Fund's 2023 Auction is Live!
Crossroads Fund's 2023 Online Auction - an exciting part of our Seeds of Change Benefit - is officially open!
Our auction has been called "one of the best in Chicago" and this year we will not disappoint. We have our usual collection of eclectic, fun, and thought-provoking auction items - some old favorites and some brand new finds. The auction opens Saturday, March 25 at 10am and closes on Friday March 31 at 7:30pm at Seeds of Change - in person again at Malcolm X College (you don't need to attend to win auction items).
Our Seeds of Change Online Auction goal is $17,000 to support Crossroads Fund's mission to fund grassroots groups on the frontlines working for racial, social, and economic justice, especially in this critical moment. So, like voting in Chicago, bid early and bid often. Also, please share the auction link with friends and family!
A pieces of important info:
- we are willing to mail gifts certificates but all other items will be available for pick-up ONLY either at the end of our Seeds of Change Benefit at Malcolm X College (for those of you attending) or at Crossroads Fund's office in Logan Square. We will be open for pick-ups after April 10 (we will need time to organize the items).
- check within the individual auction items for additional restrictions/information.
- you must be 21 to bid on alcoholic beverages or cannabis related items.
- if you plan to attend Seeds of Change on Friday, please make sure to add your cell phone number to your Bidding for Good registration information so you can get updates on the auction and other event related stuff texted directly to your phone.

I was unable to link all the auction donors to the items on the site but you can see a complete list of donors on our website very soon.

This year we will present the Ron Sable Award for Activism to Collaborative for Community Wellness - Treatment Not Trauma Campaign, which seeks to create a public mental health crisis response and care system including reopening Chicago's shuttered public mental health clinics. The Donald F. Erickson Synapses Award to Chicago Abortion Fund, an organization that works to address economic and systemic barriers to reproductive choice in Illinois. The Lynda J. Tipton Memorial Award for Social Justice to Southsiders Organized for Unity and Liberation (SOUL), a multi-issue organization strengthening civic engagement and building power in communities to advance racial and economic justice.
