The 2009 National Preservation Online Auction is now closed. Thank you all for taking the time to point, click and bid in order to support the National Trust for Historic Preservation and our mission to help people protect, enhance and enjoy the places that matter to them. Your participation was part of our National Preservation Month celebration and we hope the it highlighted the importance of our heritage.

This Place Matters!  We are deeply grateful for the wonderful generosity of all the historic sites, hotels, organizations, destinations and friends who have contributed to this auction site with their thoughtful donation.  And we also want to thank all of you who took the time to browse and learn about these places, as well as those of you who made a Bid for Preservation.  We could not have done it without your help.

Even though our auction has ended, our organization and our mission have not. The National Trust for Historic Preservation is a private, nonprofit membership organization dedicated to saving historic places and revitalizing America's communities.
