The online portion of Art in Bloom Silent Auction is now open. The online auction will run from April 10, 2009 to noon on April 29, 2009, and then final bidding will take place at the Gala Preview Party the evening of on April 29, 2009. A portion of the proceeds go to the Friends of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts in order to support the Children's Fund. Auction items range from exotic vacation getaways to donated items guaranteed to delight and surprise. So, tell your friends, family, community. Let the bidding begin!
Now is your chance to not only get all the great items you want, but to do it knowing you are helping support the Friends Children's Fund which provides opportunities for children to be enriched by art.

One of the best things about participating is that you get when you give. All you have to do is bid! From great electronics gear to once-in-a-lifetime experiences, this is the place to get in on all the auction action! Items will be available for pick up at the Gala Preview Party, April 29th at 9PM. If you are not at the party and have made an absentee bid that is the winning bid, you will be notified after the auction closes and must make arrangments to pick up the item at the MIA by May 3, 2009.
