You are bidding on a three hour burrowing owl tour for up to four people. Your guide is a founding member of Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife who has worked with the burrowing owls for over 20 years and is the author of "Cape Coral Burrowing Owls Don't Hoot"
Beverly Ahlering Saltonstall, is the proud author of ?Cape Coral Burrowing Owls Don?t Hoot? and has spent over 20 years working to protect the world?s largest population of Florida Burrowing Owls, in Cape Coral. Her passion for these unique birds began in 2000 when she first encountered them in her then new hometown, Cape Coral.
After responding to a newspaper ad seeking help with the Burrowing Owls population, she became an integral part of forming the Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife organization. Beverly has been the Educational Outreach Chair for the past decade, sharing her extensive knowledge about the owls with schools, service organizations, homeowners associations, and nature organizations.
