Hibakusha Stories passes the legacy of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August of 1945 to a new generation and empowers them with tools to build a world free of nuclear weapons. Hibakusha Stories provides the opportunity for New York City high school students to hear eyewitness accounts of one of the most signi cant events in human history. The survivors are called hibakusha. Hibakusha Stories is an initiative of Youth Arts New York, a 501(c) 3 charitable organization. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
