The Utah Museum of Natural History illuminates the natural world and the place of humans within it. The Museum encourages new perspectives on and inspires passion for the natural world; showcases Utah's unique and extraordinary environments; demonstrates the myriad links connecting the past, present and future; and holds more than one million objects in trust for future generations. As a center for science literacy, the Museum acts as a bridge between the scientific community and the public, reaching more than 300,000 children and adults annually through onsite and offsite exhibits, classes, lectures and statewide educational outreach programs.
