Seniors' Resource Center is a community partner, non-profit company, bettering the lives of seniors ages 65- 100 years old. Our mission is providing person-focused, coordinated services to enhance independence, dignity and quality of life. We will continue to ensure quality of life through a constellation of services, information, advocacy, and leadership to meet the needs of the community enabling individuals to age in the place they call home. Seniors' Resource Center provides adult day and respite services. This offers day programs to assists older adults with physical and cognitive challenges, and young adults with developmental disabilities, remain in their own homes with their families. A friendly, caring, and supportive staff care for people with Alzheimer's disease, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, dementia, and other conditions. For additional cost Seniors' Resource Center provides massages, haircuts, manicures podiatry services and foot care. We also provide free transportation from seniors' homes to the front door of our buildings. This transportation will also take seniors to any medical appointment, grocery store or to run any personal errands. In-Home care is also provided by Seniors' Resource Center. In-Home Care Services provides friendly and affordable non-medical care to individuals in their own home. Trained and bonded Personal Care Providers assist with bathing, dressing, and other personal needs, as well as light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation and socialization. Finally, Seniors' Resource Center provides Care Management. This provides community education, emergency financial assistance when available, information and referral services, care management, Friendly Visitors and supportive counseling to hundreds of seniors. Professional Care Managers can assess simple situations over the telephone, make a home visit when the needs are more complex, answer questions about many subjects and/or direct people to appropriate resources.
