TCMHS is observing its 60th Anniversary this year. It was the first Federally-qualified Community Mental Health Center in New England back in 1951 and today continues to be a progressive leader in service development, delivery, and a vital link in Maine's healthcare community. It serves about 11,000 Maine people of all ages each year, offering programs to address mental illness, substance abuse, developmental/intellectual disabilities and autism.
