The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Rochester, New York is to create, find, and support programs that directly improve the health and well being of children. We accomplish this by: • Caring for families and keeping them close to their children at our 20 bedroom "Home away from Home". • Caring for parents of the most critically ill and injured children at our House Within the Hospital located above the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Golisano Children's Hospital. • Providing a Family Lounge on the Pediatric Floor at the Golisano Children's Hospital that brings the caring spirit of our two Houses to all families with children in treatment. • Funding programs that improve the health outcomes for children in our area.
