Founded by Jeffrey Horowitz in 1979, Theatre for a New Audience is a modern classical theatre dedicated to the language and ideas of authors, producing acclaimed productions of Shakespeare alongside other great writers. The mission of Theatre for a New Audience is to develop and vitalize the performance and study of Shakespeare and classic drama.
