Critical Exposure??A???A???A???A???A???A?s mission is to teach youth to use the power of photography and their own voices to advocate for the opportunities and resources they need to succeed. We empower youth to participate in the democratic process using a three-prong approach that combines art and advocacy to facilitate: - Youth Empowerment: Train students in photography, leadership, and advocacy; teach them to document issues affecting their lives; and help them to use their images to build support for concrete changes that improve their schools and communities. - Public Engagement: Inform the public by using students'??A???A???A???A? photographs and writing to create exhibits for galleries, libraries, coffee shops, and other public spaces to increase awareness of conditions in low-income schools and communities. - Real Change: Work with students and partner organizations to implement strategies that use youth photography and voices to create changes that improve public schools and the lives of underserved youth.
