Changes in the health care environment have dramatically decreased the amount of funding available to hospitals, making the need for charitable giving more important than ever. The Jennie Edmundson Foundation has been dedicated to helping Jennie Edmundson Hospital fulfill its mission "To improve the quality of life by caring for the body and mind." The Jennie Edmundson Foundation supports programs that benefit our patients and their families, our employees and students, and the communities we serve in Council Bluffs and southwest Iowa. The Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, which works with hospital employees, Jennie Edmundson Volunteer Services and other area residents to determine how the Foundation can help most effectively.
