EMPOWERING ENTREPRENEURS TO CREATE JOBS IN WASHINGTON. DC LOCATION: In the heart of Adams Morgan. Our street level office has a unique view of our city's needs. WHAT WE DO: We provide microloans and business training to low-income entrepreneurs. Our peer group lending model groups business together to share ideas, network and provide support. WHY WE DO IT: America was built on entrepreneurship and we have a duty to help those who are willing to work hard to pull themselves out of the system of poverty. RESULTS: For every new business 2.5 jobs are created or retained. Our training has increased businesses' revenue by 33% and 97% of them are still in business. YOUR DONATION: The purpose of these auctions are to help Life Asset expand its successful microloan and training program in Washington, D.C. area.
