The Citizens Research Council of Michigan (CRC) is a nonprofit research group dedicated to improving Michigan government through expertly researched nonpartisan information. CRC believes that public policy impacts everyone who pays taxes, owns or runs a business, is employed or unemployed, have children in local schools or colleges, drives anywhere in the state or have used healthcare in Michigan. CRC has provided answers to Michigan's policymakers, elected officials, businesses and citizens without bias, spin or slant since 1916. CRC's fact-based and objective research results in: better decisions by policymakers and elected officials; better oversight by citizens and better accountability in government. Ultimately, good policy means a better quality of life for all Michiganders.
