The Hunter Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the economic development of the Village of Tannersville, Town of Hunter, and surrounding mountaintop areas. We have played a key role in rehabilitating over 100 homes and 35 businesses not just in Hunter but in surrounding Ashland, Jewett, Lexington, Prattsville and Windham. We have been responsible for over 12 million dollars put into the community. Jobs have been provided, local contractors used and we have helped to create businesses. We currently manage over 20 properties from short term rentals, long term rentals, and commercial properties including our three pillar businesses: Tannersville Antique & Annex Center, Fromer Market Gardens, and the Colonial Country Club Golf Course and Event Center. Our annual spring online auction is raising funds for our general operations fund which continues to support local clubs and organizations including the Hunter Tannersville Central School District, Catskill Mountain Foundation, 23Arts, Mountaintop Arboretum, and many more.
