Valley Village has a 45-year history of providing programs and services for individuals with developmental challenges in the San Fernando Valley. Clients of Valley Village have developmental disabilities such as autism, Down syndrome, epilepsy, and cerebral palsy. Today, Valley Village currently serves nearly 400 men and women through family-style residential programs and caring day programs. Valley Village is a well-established organization in the Los Angeles region and collaborates with other agencies for the best possible service for the people we serve. Nearly half of Valley Village??A?A?s clients are wheelchair-bound and most are medically fragile. Recognizing that the developmentally disabled population is aging and their needs are changing, Valley Village has become a leader in the community for serving individuals with special needs who may also have medical complications. Valley Village has been recognized by local, state and federal leaders as an advocate and leader in the field of care for those with developmental disabilities.
