Friends of Baldwin is a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer organization that works to strengthen the Maria L. Baldwin school community and support the educational experience of our students. Every parent of a child at the school is a member and is welcome at any and all of our meetings. Meetings are typically held on the second Tuesday of each month during the school year from 9:00-10:00 AM in the basement activity room. But check the calendar as meeting times may vary. We raise money to... .Ensure that all enrichment activities are available to every student regardless of their financial circumstances; . Support teachers; . Subsidize field trips, class overnights, and an annual ski trip; . Fund and host community building events; . Purchase science and sports equipment, books, and other resources that support our school; and more. For example, in the most recent school year, Friends of Baldwin funded dozens of requests throughout the year, including a grant for every teacher. We subsidized all overnight field trips and the annual ski trip. We ensured that all grades had an in-school enrichment. And we supported many events such as the "Welcome Back to School" Popsicle party, STEM Night, and the storyteller at Pajama Storytelling Night. We also helped to fund the dunk tank at Field Day.
