The Cincinnati Arts Association operates two of downtown Cincinnati's premiere performing arts venues: the Aronoff Center for the Arts and Music Hall. Founded in 1992 to serve as a manager, presenter, and educator, CAA's mission is to present a broad range of high quality performing and visual arts programs; develop diverse audiences; foster an appreciation of the arts and an understanding of their forms; and encourage the use of CAA facilities. The Aronoff Center and Music Hall annually host performances for 13 resident companies every year, including the Cincinnati Opera, Cincinnati Ballet, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and the Fifth Third Bank Broadway Across America series.
