Fund-A-Need 2016: Transporting for Service, Education, and Fellowship

Emmaus' 2016 Fund-A-Need effort was announced at the April 16 Magic 'til Midnight gala. This year we are raising funds to purchase a 12-passenger van for the parish.

Ways in which the new parish van may be used:

Service

- Middle & High School Youth Service Projects
- JustFaith fieldtrips
- Respect Life rallies and prayer vigils
- Choir members participating in diocesan events
- Transportation Ministry for the elderly to attend Sunday mass
- "Mass Transit" - transporting parishioners from overflow parking on busy holydays
- Ministry Group Service Projects - more of our ministries could travel together to serve. Wouldn't you join in more if you could travel with a group?

Education & Spiritual Growth

- Middle & High School Youth Retreats and Conferences
- Spiritual excursions to destinations such as the Schoenstatt Shrine, Painted Churches, or St. Mary's Cathedral for special masses. Many parish groups, like Emmaus Moms or Men of Emmaus, could experience these outings more easily if traveling together.

Fellowship

- Youth Team-Building and Social Events
- Social excursions/daytrips for our senior (or other) members
- Future Gala opportunities such as wine tours

If you were not with us to raise your bid card in support, we hope you will consider making a cash donation through this site. All donations made here after April 16, 2016 will be allocated to the Fund-A-Need effort.
