Gala Event

What is the LFS Auction? It iA?s the biggest fundraiser we do and, hands-down, the most fun. A big part of that fun comes from really embracing an auction theme. And here at LFS we REALLY embrace our themes!! So is that this Camp CardinalA? stuff I've been seeing? YES!! This year we will imagine ourselves partying in the great outdoors! We will host our very own 'camp' on Saturday, April 5th beginning at 6:30pm for LFS parents and friends. There will be cocktails to start followed by dinner, a live auction, and dancing. Wait, what about the Silent Auction? This year, the silent auction will be held online only. To streamline the event and allow more room for fun, there will not be silent auction tables on Saturday, April 5th. You may bid on silent auction items and register for all class parties etc. now right here at Bidding for Good! So we still have the items,A? just presented in a different way. The online event closes next Thursday though! Back to this camp thing . . . Where will camp be held? Right here at the school! Little Flower Parish Hall will be transformed into a wilderness cabin ready for our adult campers. I really do notA? like sA?mores. What else will there be to eat? The RidgewellsA? team will have our mess hall stacked with delicious food that will put any tin foil packet dinner to shame! Come with your outdoor appetite ready for amazing apps, dinner and desserts. Mess kits provided! What if I get homesick? We guarantee you will not because all of your friends will be here!! We have no assigned cabins so campers are free to mingle all night long. . . Or at least until the counselors call for A?lights out!A? I want to be a Camper too! How do I purchase tickets? Everyone is invited and there is room for all but please purchase your tickets no later than Wednesday, April 2nd here at this website. This session will close and latecomers may get stuck with latrine duty! Before the event you will receive a camp handbook (a/k/a the auction program) with more details about the event, the food, item pickup, etc.

What do I wear to camp? What would you normally wear in the woods? Hiking boots, cargo shorts, vests, bandannas . . . Nature is no place for high fashion so by all means leave your fancy clothes in your cabin and dress comfy and casual!! (Bug spray will not be necessary) If you aA?re not an avid outdoorsman/woman, just come in khakis and a polo shirt. If you are daring, we woulA?d love to see you all decked out in your scout uniform or fishing gear!
