The Mindfulness Center's 2014 Spring Soiree/Auction!

The Mindfulness Center's 2014 Spring Soiree/Auction to benefit the Every Child Thrives program! Silent Auction, Live Music, Drinks and Hors D'oeuvres generously provided by local restaurants including Lebanese Taverna, Boloco, Dawson's Market, 100 Montaditos, Mama Lucia and American Tap Room! The Every Child Thrives Fund brings mindfulness and other mind-body practices to children. The Mindfulness Center is currently working with Montgomery County Public Schools and other schools throughout the region to empower children with mindfulness skills. Mindfulness practices have proven to improve social skills, emotional well-being, physical health, and academic achievement, along with mental health, quality of life, leadership skills, and general overall well-being. This Fund was established to support children/students to thrive in all circumstances of life. Funds support mind-body programs such as meditation, yoga, retreats and one-on-one services for children in crisis. Tickets: $25 donation
