Penobscot Marine Museum's 2014 Gala is Coming Up ...and you don't want to miss it! Fine dining, great company, a fantastic venue overlooking Penobscot Bay, and exciting auction items, both silent and live! All this and a wonderful cause, as well, with all proceeds supporting Penobscot Marine Museum's exhibits and programs! This year we are pleased to honor Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors Founder and Publisher, John K. Hanson, Jr. and Editor-in-Chief, Polly Saltonstall for their enormous contributions to and passionate promotion of Maine's rich maritime culture. The evening begins at 5:30 pm with cocktails and a silent auction at Point Lookout Resort in Northport, Maine. Dinner is at 7:00 pm followed by a live auction and dancing.
