RSO's 80th Anniversary Gala

The Rockford Symphony Orchestra will host its Anniversary Gala, 80 Years - A Celestial Odyssey, on Saturday, April 25, 2015. The evening will begin at the Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center with cocktails, dinner and live entertainment, then continue under the stars of the Coronado Theatre with the Rockford Symphony Orchestra’s season finale concert.  Music Director Steven Larsen will lead the orchestra in a performance of Holst’s “The Planets”, featuring visual accompaniment of stunning planetary images created by the renowned Adler Planetarium.  Following the performance, the evening’s celebration of RSO’s 80-year Odyssey will crescendo with an elaborate dessert presentation and champagne reception in the lobbies of the beautiful, historic Coronado.
