Nobody gets results like Judge Glenda Hatchett. A visionary on the bench, she is renowned for her unique way of determining justice in an innovative, authoritative manner. Well known for her award-winning show, Judge Hatchett, she was lauded for her creative sentencing and powerful administration of justice. With a groundbreaking approach to courtroom television, she delivered revolutionary interventions where litigants “do time” with successful community leaders and professionals from the workforce, the arts, social activism, public service, and athletics. A jurist beyond reproach, her experience as the first African American Chief Presiding Judge of Atlanta’s Fulton County Juvenile Court catapulted her to the forefront of the national justice system.
Advocacy and recognition are the cornerstones of the YWCA. With more than 8,000 participants here in White Plains and over 2 million participants nationwide, the YWCA is where women turn. We are the voice for women and speak out and take action on racial and social justice, economic empowerment and opportunities for women and girls. The YWCA also brings people together to network and celebrate people who help us advance our mission.
