WDAV Garden Party

WDAV will celebrate its classical music mission through a charitable event, Classics in Bloom: A Garden Party. This special celebration will bring together music lovers from around the region to enjoy exquisite cuisine, wonderful company, and magnificent music in a most inspiring natural setting—all while raising financial support for WDAV.

The Garden is a destination location, please allow for appropriate travel time to arrive in time for the 6pm start.

Garden Party Attire

These suggestions are meant to be a guide should you need ideas on what to wear to the WDAV Classics in Bloom Garden Party, but are by no means comprehensive. Above all, our hope is that whatever you choose to wear, you will be comfortable enough to enjoy the beautiful garden atmosphere and entertainment on the evening of the event.

We do respectfully request that our guests not wear shorts to the Garden Party.

Women

• Options for women include a flowy skirt with a nice top, dress-casual slacks, or a summer dress. 
  
  
• Soft and summery fabrics are great choices for a Garden Party and floral prints are, of course, perfect.
  
  
• Hats and dress jackets are also appropriate.

Men

• Options for men might include dress-casual slacks, blazers/sport coats, and open collars. No tie is required or expected for this event.
  
  
• All colors are suitable, but consider something light or bright in keeping with the garden atmosphere.
