NatureBridge – An Evening with NatureBridge - Gala 2016
Auction Ends: May 25, 2016 03:00 PM PDT

An Evening with NatureBridge

Join NatureBridge in forging the next one hundred years as we celebrate NatureBridge and the centennial of its partner—the National Park Service—America’s best idea.

Set in the rotunda of San Francisco’s City Hall, the reception begins at six o’clock as educators lead guests through interactive science experiences, showcase the National Environmental Science Center—launching late Fall 2016 in conjunction with the centennial—and present a variety of park-specific silent auction offerings.
A gourmet dinner will be served amidst an environment of stunning visuals provided by award-winning filmmaker Louie Schwartzberg and photographer Ian Shive, author of The National Parks: Our American Landscape. The live auction boasts educational journeys that offer rare opportunities for guests to intimately experience impressive natural locations around the world. Each bid supports NatureBridge’s environmental science programs that foster growth in tomorrow’s environmental stewards, which in turn ensures the protection of America’s natural legacy for the next century.

Meet keynote speaker Dr. Milton Chen as he chronicles how innovative environmental science education will transform the next century for the National Park Service and continue to preserve America's best idea. An avid environmentalist and public speaker, Milton is well known for his powerful and enlightening commentary on a variety of environmental and educational topics.

Join us, and help NatureBridge foster the sparks of environmental literacy that will sustain our planet.
