Gala Event

The Junior League of Bergen County (JLBC) is proud to announce our signature silent auction and black tie optional gala, the 31st Annual Festival of Trees.  This event will be held on Saturday, December 2nd, at the Hackensack Golf Club in Oradell, N.J. 

Established in Bergen County, NJ over 85 years ago, the JLBC is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. The JLBC has long been an innovator in Bergen County by founding and supporting such projects as The Volunteer Center of Bergen County, Rebuilding Together of Bergen County, and Woodlea Group Home (the first of its kind in 1973).

The JLBC has also developed a program for smaller projects, Done-in-a-Day, that delivers over 10,000 hours of volunteer time each year and sustains more than 30 different initiatives including working with The Boys & Girls Club of Lodi and Hackensack, Zoe’s Place, and Valley Home Care, to name a few.

This league year will mark a new chapter in our history where we once again partner with community leaders launch a new initiative to help improve and support the communities throughout Bergen and the surrounding counties.  Joing us as we launch our new Resilience inititative.  As a business owner in one of the wonderful towns that make up these amazing counties, your generous donations and support to this year’s 31st Festival of Trees will help create the funds needed to support and foster this new initiative.
