Bag Composite by 2017 StudioWorks Artist-in-Residence Elizabeth Bennett.
Silkscreen on brown paper bag, 2018. Approximately 11 3/4" wide by 17" high.
Elizabeth Bennett writes: "In a series of Grocery Stories, my search for order in the mundane is taken to the point of comic absurdity. The humorous self-deprecating text is echoed by the ridiculous effort of multi-color screen printing on lumpy, ubiquitous grocery bags."
"Bag" was included in the 2018 PSBN exhibition in Hilo, Hawaii, juried by Helen Frederick. It received a Recognition Award and a print was acquired by the Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts.
