This Tour Certificate entitles you and your group of up to 12 people to a tour of WHDH-TV, Channel 7 in Boston. Come and view our newsroom, studios, and facilities. Visit the anchor desk, the weather center, and see a working newsroom in action! Perhaps you?ll see your favorite reporters, anchors, and meteorologists busy at work!
The tour entails a visit of the newsroom, the weather center, master control and, if possible, a look at the news as it airs live! Guests can pose for a picture at the anchor desk, visit the weather center and see a working newsroom in action! There is even a chance that one of our reporters, anchors, or meteorologists will be available for Q&As. The tour must be set up with me at least three weeks in advance. WHDH reserves the right to cancel the tour at any time in the case of breaking news (since we are a working news station). However, in the event of a cancellation, a new date will be scheduled.
Tours are not offered to the public!
Station tours are conducted Tuesday-Friday at 11:15AM or on a case-by-case basis. The tour lasts for about one hour.
Item Special Note
Since time is limited and 7News is a working newsroom environment, we are unable to invite individual groups over 12 people in attendance. We require that all those touring must be ages 7 and up!
