At The Porch Southern Fare & Juke Joint in Medford, MA, the menu highlights several beloved regional cuisines of the South from low country to soul food to Cajun, along with an authentic whole hog barbecue program courtesy of a custom built 1000 lb wood fired smoker. Chef Jonathan Post reaches deep into culinary (and family) history to serve up authentic iterations of classic dishes like skillet cornbread, pimento cheese, bbq pork, and Nashville Hot Fried Chicken while also exploring modern southern cuisine and the exciting things happening now south of the Mason Dixon line.
