Artist Bio
Tina Bohlman has used her home state of Texas as both the inspiration and canvas for her art. A self-taught artist, Bohlman works in both watercolor and oil mediums with intense dedication and an insatiable desire to paint.
Painting professionally over 40 years, Bohlman supplemented her independent study in workshops conducted by some of the best artists in the field, including Jan Kuntz, Roger Dale Brown, Jill Carver, and Andy Evanson. She’s a veteran of several competition plein air and “quick draw” events. In 2010, Bohlman was one of 32 artists invited to participate in Sedona Plein Air Festival (Arizona), and in 2015/ 2018, she was selected as a competition artist in Plein Air Easton (Maryland)--both top plein air events in the nation.
A candid and open artist, studio visits are welcome anytime. Bohlman accepts commissions, conducts watercolor workshops, and offers private lessons. Her work is collected worldwide with her originals in private and corporate collections in 34 States, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom, Portugal, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, and Republic of Benin, West Africa.
