Pappy Van Winkle 20 Year Old Family Reserve 2008 / Stitzel-Weller

Iconic original Stitzel Weller mashbill of the Pappy Van Winkle 20. This bottle is truly a unicorn as it was barreled in 1989 just as Van Winkle was exiting the Bourbon recession. No other bourbon today can stand 20 years of aging, but this bourbon does it with style. Pappy Van Winkle was a true character. This bourbon, like Pappy, is full of the character that makes it a very special whiskey.

The taste is what and why Pappy is so popular today.  In 2012, the Pappy Van Winkle changed to bourbon distilled at the Buffalo Trace  Distillery.  Many bourbon purest believe there is no comparison in how good the Stitzel-Weller is verse the current version.  

The bottle is in mint condition with bag and tag.

Drawing Date: October 13th at 12:00pm EST

Must be 21 years or older to enter. Drawing to be conducted live on Facebook – winner will be announced at that time; there will be one winner.  An email receipt for your purchase of raffle ticket(s) will be sent, which will include your assigned raffle ticket number(s). Physical raffle tickets will not be mailed. Receipt and/or transaction numbers should not be confused with raffle ticket numbers; raffle ticket numbers will be posted on our website at www.mltriangle.com and linked on Facebook once assigned. The winner will also be notified by phone and email no later than October 15th, 2021. Items will be shipped, or be made available for in-person pick-up in Morrisville, NC or surrounding areas upon request. One delivery attempt will be made, and signature will be required upon delivery; failure to sign for package (or alternately, pick up at post office/shipping company) will result in your forfeit of the package and a new winner will be selected. Items may be shipped to any U.S. address as specified by winner, unless prohibited by law. In certain cases, the items may be delivered in person by staff, board members, or volunteers, with permission of the winner. No purchase limit applies while sufficient tickets are available; a maximum of 250 tickets will be sold, although actual number sold may be significantly less. Void where participation is prohibited. All proceeds benefit The Miracle League of the Triangle, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Note: Participants do not need to attend raffle to participate or win. Drawing may be conducted by volunteer or board member of The Miracle League of the Triangle; this process will be supervised by a member of the organization’s Executive Committee. Raffle will be conducted in North Carolina, in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Following announcement via Facebook, phone, and email, the winner will have 30 days to claim prize (if not otherwise responsive to our contact efforts).
