Item Description

Cha is a renowned PTR/NCAA certified coach/consultant/mentor with over 25 years of playing and coaching experience in the PA, NJ and DE area.  He served PhilaU as a volunteer assistant in the spring of 2009 as the men's team captured the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) title and both the men and women advanced to their respective NCAA East Regional tournaments.  Cha is known for his grueling fitness and conditioning regimens and widely recognized for his in depth study and application of bio mechanical structure, dynamic footwork patterns, and the use of video technology for analysis and refinement.  Since 2005 he has worked with numerous highly ranked sectional and national players under the umbrella of Next Stop.Next Level.Tennis - an elite player development and competition management program which he founded.  From 2005 to 2007, Cha served as the Assistant Director of Tennis at the Cynwyd Club in Bala Cynwyd, PA.  Other clubs where he has had significant impact include the Riverside Racket Club in Bala Cynwyd, Arrowhead Racket Club (Medford, NJ) and the Robert P. Levy Tennis Pavilion on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania.  He mentored under the tutelage of Hyacinth "Hy" Yorke in the Hy Intensity Tennis Academy of which he is still a part-time coach and contributor.
