By Haba
Different sized cubes fit together to form a larger cube, or many other patterns. Use these to count, sort, learn math (addition, subtraction, fractions, volume…), the possibilities are limitless as your child’s imagination.
Comes with:
- 4 wooden pieces, 2-inch cubed
- 32 wooden pieces, 1-inch cubed
Made of solid beech wood. A wonderful set for Montessori and Waldorf teachings at home or at school.
Designed based on the teachings of passionate German educator Friedrich W. A. Froebel, the founder of “kindergarten”, these toys teach math concepts in a fun and playful way.
Froebel (born in 1782) was the first person to call for training of pre-school educators, and based his ideas on tested educational models promoting children’s natural development with movements and games; the equivalence of modern day “learning through playing” concept.
