Kate Emlen, a summer resident of Brooksville, received an MFA from the Yale School of Art. Her landscape and still life paintings are exhibited by the Caldbeck Gallery in Rockland, the George Marshall Store Gallery in York, and the Thos. Moser Showroom in Freeport. In Vermont, her work is exhibited by Big Town Gallery. She is currently showing in Meriden, New Hampshire at the Aidron Duckworth Art Museum. Her work is included in a traveling exhibition with Zeuxis, an association of still life painters, opening at MICA on December 1st. Kate is a member of Prince Street Gallery in New York.
