Item Description
This print by the legendary Broadway caricaturist Al Hirschfeld depicts the original 1959 production of the musical GYPSY. The drawing features original company members Ethel Merman, Jack Klugman and Sandra Church (as Rose, Herbie and Louise/Gypsy, respectively) watching from the wings the girls of "Wichita's one and only burlesque theatre" (Tessie Tura, Mazeppa and Electra) perform their gimmicks. This special limited edition artist's proof is signed and numbered by Mr. Hirschfeld (6 of 20) and matted and framed in a contemporary, brushed metal frame. Measuring just under 33"x29", this is a rare piece of Broadway history to hang in a place of honor in your home.
