Item Description

Elizabeth Laul Healey is an award-winning California artist, painter, photographer, and sculptor.  Her paintings and her art come from the heart, and are based on social messaging, events that have influenced her life, and also in the humor of mundane things.  Known for her photography, Elizabeth has been published in over 40 different publications, and authored two books.  Her first book was a photography book called Baja, Mexico – Through the Eyes of an Honest Lens. Elizabeth’s latest book called Sea Voices, she co-authored with her husband Duffy Healey.  Sea Voices is a collection of interviews from some of the world’s leading ocean experts, environmentally conscious celebrities & musicians, artists, filmmakers, surf industry leaders, authors, and more, from Amy Tan to Ziggy Marley all expressing their love, concerns, and solutions, for our oceans.

Elizabeth’s paintings and sculptures have been on display in over a dozen galleries from Southern California to Mexico. She has also been very involved in various charitable organizations, donating her artwork benefit various charities including Oceana, Habitat for Humanity, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, Surfers Healing, Waterman’s Ball, Project Save Our Surf, and Christie’s Green Auction, among others. Elizabeth’s work is exclusively represented in Los Cabos by Galeria de Ida Victoria, touted by the Wall Street Journal as “the finest gallery south of Los Angeles,” which showcases established and emerging contemporary artists from Mexico and around the world.  Elizabeth's art is also featured at Haven Gallery in Austin, Texas, the Blake Street Studios in Raleigh North Carolina, and in Los Angeles at Fifi & Romeo.  And in Laguna Beach, California her “watch dogs” can be found at the prestigious Joanne Artman Gallery.
