Item Description
A portfolio of three original watercolor landscape drawings on Arches paper by award winning artist Joan Polishook. Each drawing measures approximately 10.5" x 13.5" and includes a 16" x 20" mat. They are unframed.
Joan Polishook expresses her love of country on paper and canvas using a variety of mediums which includes pen & ink, oil, acrylic and watercolor.
Joan's romance with art began as a child, when, with no instruction, she painted watercolor landscapes from pictures she saw in a book. Art has played a major role throughout her entire formal education leading to a BA in Art from the City University of New York, and onward to her career as an elementary school teacher.
Today, Joan Polishook is known for the encouragement that she gives to other artists, for her involvement in her local arts community, and the direction she offers in a program for plein air painters called COME PAINT WITH ME© which she began fourteen years ago.
Many awards have been presented to Joan for her fine art work. She participates in numerous group and solo shows in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. Her work has appeared on the covers of magazines and newspapers, and is in both private, corporate and museum collections in the US and abroad.
