Item Description
This is a lovely plaster bust of a young woman. Her scarf is draped beautifully over her hair while her eyes are gorgeous. The artist painted her eyes with a wonderful hand.
Stamped “Marwal Ind Inc" on the edge near the bottom. That is Marwal Industries, Inc. who specialized in busts and figures from the 1940s through the 1960s. Their business was in Miami, Florida.
Size: 5 ½" at widest point x 10" high.
Condition: She doesn’t have any cracks or large chips as so many of these heads have. There are some paint chips (or flakes) on her hair. There is a very tiny white mark on her nose that may be a paint flake. It is hard to see with a magnifying glass.
She would make a lovely addition to your home or as a gift to someone who is special to you.
Donated by the relative of an MCS student: C. Robison, Owner of Ancestors Memories at Deer Creek, a Ruby Lane shop.
