Montessori Country School is excited to announce that Groovy Nate will be performing at our 40th Anniversary Celebration on May 18th, 2012!
You'll move and groove when Groovy Nate presents his lively brand of musical "edutainment"! It's going to be fun for all ages!

Groovy Nate, also known as Elnathan K. Starnes, has been a working musician and song-writer in the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area for over thirteen years.
He has performed with several Washington, D.C.-based groups, and has been a featured guitarist on several CDs. In 1997, he founded the award-winning soul band, Oktbrwrld., with whom he made four CDs. Elnathan wrote the film score and co-wrote the film short for BET-produced The Water Story. Two of his songs are featured in the major motion picture, Cougar Club.
He is now a certified Music Together teacher and is teaching Music Together as well as Groovy Nate Music and Movement classes in the Northern Virginia area.
As Groovy Nate, Elnathan has performed at various venues in the Washington Metropolitan region, including: Children's Inaugural Ball; The National Institute of Health; and Imagination Stage in Bethesda.
