Item Description
A 45 minute musical performance at your location by Karl Herman, Principal Clarinetist of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, and his wife Erika Nickrenz, pianist of the Grammy®-nominated Eroica Trio.
Karl attended Carnegie-Mellon University as a student of Jerome Levine, and received his Master of Music degree with Honors from the New England Conservatory of Music, studying with Peter Hadcock of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. He joined the NJSO in 1979.
Erika is a native of New York, where she made her concerto debut in Town Hall at age eleven. She began her studies with German Diez and received her B.M. and M.M. degrees from the Juilliard School as a pupil of Abbey Simon; she is an active solo and chamber musician with more than eighty concerts this season.The Eroica Trio performs the Beethoven Triple Concerto more frequently than any other trio in the world.

The winner must provide a tuned piano and the location must be within a one hour drive of Newark, NJ.
