Item Description
To understand exactly how Papa Gino's had been the "family pizzeria since 1961", you have to go a back to 1936. That was the year the Valerios sailed from Italy to Boston. They brought with them authentic Italian family recipes handed down through generations.
In 1961, Papa Gino's founder Michael Valerio and his wife, Helen, took those recipes and opened their first pizzeria, Piece O' Pizza, in East Boston. In no time, Piece O' Pizza (renamed Papa Gino's in 1968) became known throughout Boston as the place for families to go for pizza of superior quality taste.
Today, you and your family can enjoy Papa's signature thin crust pizza at nearly 170 Papa Gino's Restaurants throughout New England. Take a night (or two!) off from cooking and do what families have been doing for over 40 years. Stop by Papa Gino's. The family pizzeria since 1961.
