Item Description

In the winter of 2011, Hollywood mega-star Hugh Jackman sang, danced, strutted, shook, kicked and stripped his way into the hearts of thousands of adoring fans in his one-man show HUGH JACKMAN, BACK ON BROADWAY.  He entertained sold-out audiences eight times a week with a soundtrack that included show tunes, jazz standards and even a nod to the land Down Under with some indigenous Australian music.

Hugh single-handedly raised nearly $2 million for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS by taking photographs and auctioning the tank top he wore during each show. Bids for these sweaty reminders of Australia’s favorite export often soared as high as $20,000.

Hugh generously gave BC/EFA one last tank.  The T-shirt was autographed and signed with the date he wore it (December 9, 2011).  We dried it but didn’t wash it, so you’ll get all the Jackman you can handle.

As an added bonus, the winner of this auction also will take home an autographed poster from the show, as well as a photo of Hugh in one of the signed frames he used for his post-show photographs.
