Item Description
In 2002, the original company of Broadway's 1981 musical MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG reunited for a one-night-only concert performance in Lincoln Center's LaGuardia Concert Hall, directed by Kathleen Marshall. This photograph of the show's composer and lyricist, Stephen Sondheim, was taken by renowned Broadway photographer Rivka Katvan at a midday rehearsal for the concert. The 17" x 22" black-and-white portrait has been autographed by the maestro himself and professionally framed.
This prize package also comes with a set of Mr. Sondheim's new books, Finishing the Hat and Look, I Made a Hat - Collected Lyrics with Attendant Comments, Principles, Heresies, Grudges, Whines and Anecdotes.
